  8. This album (and more to the point Moby) received a lot of backlash after almost every track seemed to be used in one advertising campaign or another. At the time Play came out I heard some of the tracks by proxy due to living in a student house but never bought the record/5().
  9. Moby has even stated that by this point he was pandering to what audiences wanted and wasn't necessarily making the music he really wanted to. And it shows. I miss the short instrumental interludes that padded out the songs on Play like "Down Slow" and "18", I miss the spontaneity that album showcased and, most of all, I just miss Play.
